Personal Trainer

Happy New Year!!!!

I am posting today when I should be running, but 2 things, 1- I havent posted in a while and 2-Its been 4 days of sleeping in and running at awesome times in the morning so I just didnt feel like bearing the cold today. (Yes midwesterners it is cold here 32-38 degrees in the morning)

Dont tell my newly self-appointed Personal Trainer (aka Andy Gracyalny) or he will be very disappointed. Yes thats right, Andy has taken on the role of making sure I dont miss a day of "training". Not sure what I am "training" for, since I had to bag out of the PF Changs in Phoenix because of work (long story). But he is keeping me motivated or giving me guilt whichever- they both work to get my butt up and moving everyday-  I keep telling him that I am running to lose weight and not to win a marathon, but that does not matter, and I have to beg and reason with him on my "rest" days- and according to my book, I DO get 2 rest days a week. Accoording to my PT I may get a half day at most.

Heres the run down of the last 4 days-
Friday- 7.6 miles in 32 degree weather- felt great - cant remember the time but I know I burned over 800 Kcals and ate well over 1000 cals to make up for it.
Saturday- Rode the bike trainer inside for 40 mins- I was hungover and didnt feel like getting bundled up to run outside, justification, I havent cross trained in a while and it felt good to get on the bike again.
Sunday-3.68 miles in a little warmer degrees because I went at noon
Monday- My old rest day- went to the gym with my PT and the 1000other new years resolution folk. I did free weights with all the hotties for an hour all with my PT putting on more weights and telling me to push through the pain- Joy!
Today- well my PT is out on a bike ride (he he) and I am enjoying my quiet morning with coffee and the computer until I have to start getting ready for work -boo! PLUS I can hardly walk or move my arms from pumping iron yesterday.

Not sure how I am going to break the news to my PT about not doing anything today, but I did pack my gym bag so if I get a bug to run, I can go at lunch or after work (dont hold your breath) so I may be able to make it up- if not, Wednesday is a great day to run!
